The RED RIBBON has for a long time been a symbol of solidarity with the HIV-positive. Nowadays other solidarity campaigns have embraced the red ribbon idea and thus devalved the value of the symbol. RFSL wanted to update the ribbon's form to further visualize the link between HIV-negative and positive.

Gedeon Design did the logo and two ad campaigns on the theme.

The Red Ribbon is a worldwide symbol of solidarity with HIV-positive and living with AIDS. By further developing the concept of a heart inscribed in a band between HIV-negative and HIV-positive and makes clear the basic idea.
